Save Thursday Afternoon for the Farmers Market!
The Bradford Community Farmers Market (BCFM) begins its second season on June 4th. With started plants. early veggies, meat, wool and other fiber. We expect to start the season in grand style.
We set up on Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in front of the BACC. Rain or shine.
This year we have a full schedule of entertainment and seminars planned – from cooking and gardening to spinning and baking, the market is going to be interesting as well as nutritious.
For more information on the schedule of events see Bradford Community Farmer’s Market.
The BCFM has been organized to make local local farm produce more available to the community. The quality is great because the local farmers have very high standards and nothing travels very far to get there. Supporting our community farmers helps keep us strong and self-sufficient.
Many of our vendors welcome visits to their farms. You can learn a lot about what it takes to grow your food by spending some time in the gardens and pastures. There is no substitute for seeing it yourself.
