2015 Summer Activities
• French’s Park Clean-up – Is scheduled for Saturday, May 9th (Rain date Saturday May 16th). Anyone who is interested in sprucing the park up, please share your ideas with a member of P&R. Also feel free to “rake the lake” in the beach area.
• 30th Annual Bradford 5K Road Race – To be held Saturday, July 4th at 9 AM. Registration opens at 7:30 at the Bradford Town Hall.
• American Red Cross Blood Drive – July 4th to be held at the Bradford Area Community Center beginning at 9AM
• Snack Shack – We will be opening the Snack Shack on July 4th again this year please stop by.
• BRADFORD PARKS & REC/YMCA SWIM LESSONS AT FRENCH’S PARK
Registration forms will be available soon!
Class Cost: 1st child $65.00
additional children living in the same household: $55.00 (per child)
Dates July 6th to July 17th (total of 10 lessons per age group)
For those on a tight budget we do offer financial aid.
The average ratio for preschool class is 1:5, and the average for youth class is 1:6.
There will be a certified lifeguard that will be watching the lessons to keep your children extra safe.
• ICE SKATING RINK: Be on the look-out for upcoming information regarding the progress of the skating rink. If you are interested in being involved in this project please contact someone on Parks & Rec.
