Meeting called to order by Erich Caron, at 7:01PM.

Review and Consideration of Minutes
Minutes of 7.11.17 were accepted
Dunne family:
Sean Dunne spoke for the family and explained that they currently own property on a class VI road and there are two homes on the one lot so they are interested in a subdivision. Erich read from the Bradford Zoning Ordinance and informed the family that because their homes are on a class VI road there are not enough acres on the land to approve a subdivision and the family will have to go to the Zoning Board for their approval. Family asked the secretary to be placed on the next ZBA agenda, the secretary informed the family that there is a public hearing at the next ZBA meeting but will ask the chair if they can be added to the agenda.
Erik Croto:
Erik presented the Board with Home Business Compliance Form asking to manufacture ammunition out of his home. He currently has a commercial machine that he will be using and will not have more than 80lbs of material at a time and has lockers to store all the powder that are fire safe. This is a hobby that has turned into a small side business; he will not be employing anyone at this time. After review of the application, there was a motion to approve the application, vote 5-0
Gravel Pit update:
Claire, Bob and Mary Pickham (from the State) did a walkthrough of Harriet’s gravel pit and Isham’s gravel pit. Mary said that Harriet’s pit has already started to reclaim itself and that it would be best to leave it alone at this point and call it an abandoned pit. Claire will draft a letter to Harriet in regards to the site walk with the State. Isham’s pit was not in great condition according to Mary and the Board decided that Claire and Bob will set up a time to talk with Peter to go over the findings from the State.
Master Plan:
Dean, from the State, will be at the next Planning Board meeting to go over the chapter on transportation and also discuss what chapters will follow.
Other Business:
- Garrett recapped the ZBA meeting that he attended on the 19th of July where the ZBA went over their sections of the Zoning Ordinance.
- CIP: This committee is currently Claire James, Michael James, Jim Bibbo, and Jason Allen. It was suggested that Claire reach out to Heather Weed from the ZBA to see if she would be interested in joining.
The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for August 8, 2017 at 7:00pm at BACC.
