Hazardous Weather Outlook – Southern, Central, Western and Northern Region A Weather Advisory is issued if after review of pertinent weather information it is determined that escalating emergency conditions may be possible.

SUMMARY: SHOWERS AND STORMS THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT, BEST CHANCE WESTERN MASS AND PSNH.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible after 12pm beginning in Western New Hampshire. One round of scattered activity should affect parts of the region this afternoon with additional showers and storms possible tonight.  The main issue with any storm that may develop will be heavy down pours.

  • Thunderstorm chance: 80%.
  • Lightning amounts: Medium.
  • Thunderstorm gusts: 35-40 mph, with isolated peak gusts to 45 mph across Western NH and from the Lakes Region on north. Chance of gusts over 35 mph: 40%.
  • Rain amounts: 0.25-0.75″, isolated 1.00-1.50″ possible from the Lakes Region on north.
