June 6, 2016

Minutes

Pledge of Allegiance

Meeting called to order at 5:30pm

Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Jim Bibbo, Selectman

Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator; Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance

Appearances

  1. Harry Wright- The next round of funding for the Transportation Alternative Program is becoming available. The first step is to submit a Letter of Intent. Harry said he will write the letter. Harry will complete the application that was submitted a couple years ago as a base for the new application.
  2. Nikki Dubaere- Came to ask the Board if she could start a small committee for the Bradford Green project on the old Naughton property. The committee will be: Nikki Dubaere, Mike James, Matt Gerald, and Jane Johnsen. They have started doing some trimming around the main walking trail and see lots of potential. The Board was in support for them working on the property. The Board made a motion to appoint Nikki Dubaere the Chair of the Bradford Green Committee. Vote 3-0

Regular Business

  1. Move to Town: Still need to finish the walls, also waiting on the ADA ramp to be competed and installed. Before the move, the boiler room must be enclosed. The goal is to have the Selectmen’s meeting on June 27th in the Town Hall.
  2. Cash Flow: More money is coming in, and there are still bills that need to be paid but we are not as tight as we have been. John asked Karen to put together a cash flow analysis that goes through September so that the Board can see where things are getting spent and brought in.
  3. CAP lease renewal: The CAP sent a letter indicating their desire to renew their lease. The last increase in rent was 5 years ago. John made a motion to the rent from $629.87 to $700.00 a month; Sonny seconded. Vote 3-0
  4. Complaint- Map 3/Lot89: There was a formal complaint presented to the Board about the activity on property Map3/Lot89. There is a scheduled Public Hearing for this property on June 14th for a new site application. Karen will also follow up with the Code Enforcement Officer regarding the details of the complaint.

Minutes of May 23, 2016 meeting were reviewed and accepted with no change. Voted 3-0.

The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016.
