Minutes of the August 15, 2023 meeting were reviewed and approved as written.
Treasurer Meg Fearnley reported she has been able to get the Commission’s two CDs turned over into a higher rate through Marilyn Goldberg, Town Treasurer.
The end of October is a deadline for compliance with the after the fact Alteration of Terrain Permit by Breezy Hill Realty. Thanks to Ken Milander of WRLAC for staying on top of this.
Some work has been done on the by the owners of 493 Center Rd towards the restoration plan approved by DES for wetlands violations on the property, but much more appears yet to be done.
The Hoyt Brook monitoring session was completed as well as additional VRAP studies.
Some residents have expressed concern about excessive tree cutting along County Road by the arborists contracted by Eversource to maintain the powerline right-of-way.
No news yet on the grant proposal for a fish friendly culvert where Deer Valley Road crosses Hoyt Brook.
The Planning Board’s subcommittee working on a Surface Water Overlay has a draft they are readying for public review.
The Bradford Trail Map has been updated, and new copies are back from the printer.
