Appearances

Pam Bruss: Pam shared the Planning Board’s rough draft of the revised sign ordinance. She also shared a letter from Stephen Henninger and Mike Tardiff, both from Central NH Regional Planning Commission, giving their feedback on the proposed revised sign ordinance. Pam explained that the goal of the sub-committee is to update the regulations such that they are are easier to understand, implement and enforce, and are also in keeping with the rural character of the town of Bradford. The sub-committee looked into 9 other surrounding towns and reviewed their sign ordinances. Pam requested the Board review the proposed changes and return their feedback to her by November 28th. The one major change suggested by the sub-committee is that the Planning Board approve/deny sign applications rather than the Selectmen. John stated that he agrees to this change.
