BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
JANUARY 12, 2012

Call to Order and Roll Call:
Dick Keller, Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30pm with Don Jackson, George Cilley, Don Marden and Marge Cilley, Secretary present.
Review and Consideration of January 5, 2012 Minutes:
Motion was made by Don Jackson to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by George Cilley. Motion carried 4-0.
Bradford Budget Score Card:
Dick Keller, Chair stated that the Budget Committee is showing an amount of $326,000 left for Warrant Articles and if the amount that the Selectmen have estimated of $510,000 is correct, then the selectmen’s budget will be 17% higher.

Discussion ensured regarding asking Gary Wall what categories could be changed that he had stated previously.
Non-Lapsing Accounts discussed with:
Grader $33,000
Asphalt $30,000.
Town Hall $ 2,000 or $ 3,000.
Income from Rescue $73,909.
4312 Highway Budget $445,684.10
Voted on however appears to be a difference of $700- $800 per Jon Marden.
4619 Conservation Comm. $ 580.00
Voted on previously
4150 Financial Administration $ 91,261.00
Amended—No vote on Jan 5, 2012.
Motion to approve was made by Don Jackson, Seconded by George Cilley. Carried 4-0.
Dick Keller, Chair will bring the score card up to date.
Town Report Edit: five lines up from the first paragraph should read: These are purchases/projects that have a minimum of three years. Dick Keller will make this correction and give to Cheryl Behr, Administrator.
Discussion with Selectmen regarding Employee Benefits was brought up, and the Selectmen are to be making a decision on January 17, 2012.
Next meeting is scheduled for: January 19, 2012 6:30pm
