Bradford Zoning Board of Adjustment   FINDINGS OF FACT —  8/16/2017   Anthony Rosa Jr. seeks a Special Exception to construct and operate a hunting preserve on his property on East Washington Rd comprising 158.8± acres. Mr. Rosa proposes:   to construct small (1 to 5 acre) fields, connected by trails; to release game birds in these fields for groups of up to four customers and a dog, one group at a time with the possibility of one group in the morning and one in the afternoon; to require the use of steel shot only; to limit hours of operation to 8 AM to 4 PM, September through April to comply in full with RSA 212:25 and Fish and Game…

Cemetery Minutes 08.10.17

CEMETERY MINUTES                                                     August 10, 2017 Members present : C Rodd, D. Whalley and J. Lord, Custodian Minutes of July 13 ,2017 were read and accepted by C. Rodd and D. Whalley OLD BUSINESS : Headstone repair estimate from Cornerstones of $3100 is over what is available in the headstone trust. Discussion regarding if there are funds available elsewhere as a warrant was squelched before town meeting in March 2017. Efforts have been made to contact the Trustees of the Bradford Trust Funds to advise the cemetery trustees if there were funds available for the extra expense. Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes July 24, 2017 Pledge of Allegiance Meeting called to order at 5:30PM Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Jim Bibbo, Selectman; Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator and Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance Appearances: Smith Cemetery: Diane Whalley attended the Attorney General’s Cemetery Trustees Seminar and learned if a cemetery does not contain bodies, then it is not considered a cemetery. She has been informed that there are currently no bodies in the Smith Cemetery and that the head stones have all been removed. The Selectmen discussed this issue and chose to do nothing at this time.
