Town of Bradford, NH Beginning February 23rd, 2017 through May 1st, 2017 All Class V Roads will be restricted to a maximum of 6 tons total weight of vehicle and load and all Class VI Roads will be closed to wheeled vehicles. Draft: Minutes, March 1, 2017 The board meeting for the Brown Memorial Library was called to order at 6:05PM. In attendance were: Patty Furness, Mary Chris Duncan, Annette Leonas, Nola Jordan, Sandy Wadlington and Meg Fearnley. 1. The secretary’s report was presented and accepted. 2. Treasurer’s report was presented and “all is well”. We received 15 thousand from the town for our appropriation. We spent $565 (under payroll) for Quick Books. We discussed prices for copies. 3. Librarian’s Report- February was a short month and there was a snow day. E books are up from last year. 4. Old Business-Fire alarm system was repaired in February. This is a great resource for anyone who loves to use the outdoors and we have plenty of that in Bradford. CEMETERY MINUTES MARCH 9, 2017 Members present :Trustees: Jane Lucas and Diane Whalley. Also present was Jim Lord, Custodian. The minutes of November 10 ,2017 were read and accepted by J. Lucas and D. Whalley. OLD BUSINESS: Diane reported that the selectmen and the budget committee questioned the need for a warrant for the headstone repairs that are necessary. Michael James and Harry Wright ,Trustees of the Trust Funds were present and assured the cemetery committee that there are funds to adequately cover the cost of needed repairs. The warrant was withdrawn. Jane will contact Dickie Moore ,former maintenance/custodian of the cemeteries for over 30 years , to see if he knows anything about the broken headstones found behind…
Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes March 6, 2017 Pledge of Allegiance Meeting called to order at 5:30pm Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Jim Bibbo, Selectman Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator; Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance Appearances Brackett Scheffy: Brackett came to answer any questions about the 2017 Town Hall plan. The question was raised as to whether or not the Community Center met code for the Town Offices. John stated that he has all intentions of going back into the Town Hall even if the Bond does not pass.
