The minutes from the June 11 ,2015 were read and approved by C.Rodd , J.Lucas and D. Whalley .

The sign posts are still waiting to be painted. Discussed pricing sign brackets for mounting the signs.

Diane reported that she had been to the selectmens meeting  seeking support for the overwhelming  amount of dead trees at four cemeteries. She was told to get quotes for the work and take care of it all at once and put a warrant in for  next year’s Town Meeting.

Cheryl had e-mailed Diane that the  quote the selectmen got for the  trees at Marshall ,New Pond , Baptist and Union  was $15,000 . Diane received a quote from A Cut Above Tree Service with 3  quotes for different services : 1)to take down the trees without removing debris, $3,100 , 2)chipping  all debris under 12” and leaving the  rest  $3,900 ,and  3) removing all debris ,#5,800.  Jim is going to have Silver Bear quote the job,as well. All were in favor ( C. Rodd ,J. Lucas and D. Whalley)of presenting the quotes to the selectmen when they were all in.

A complaint was made to the town manager about the lack of care at a lot in Sunny Plains. Jim reported that he had loamed seeded and put hay down several weeks ago .The grass IS coming in fine .  All were in favor of giving the grass time to become established.

A quote was made by Cornerstone Headstone Co. for downed or damaged headstones in the  larger cemeteries . The stones were prioritized as the more urgent needing repairs . A total of 30 were found. There is $3600 in the Headstone Repair Fund  Discussion was held  and all were in favor  ( C. Rodd, J.Lucas and D. Whalley) to have  8  stones repair.  Jane will be contacting  Cornerstones with our decision.

There have been 4 additional burials , 2 are pending next week for a total of 8 burials so far this year. One single lot was sold and 3 Perpetual Care agreements were sold for $300 each.
