Ordinance Regulating Parking on Public Highways in the Town of Bradford

ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING ON PUBLIC HIGHWAYS IN THE TOWN OF BRADFORD

In addition to RSA 265:69, the Town of Bradford, by its duly elected Selectmen and pursuant to the provisions of RSA 41:11 and RSA 47:14, order and ordain that Section 1 of the ordinance regulating parking on public highways, filed in the book of the Town Clerk’s record, is hereby amended, repealed and revoked and in place thereof the Selectmen order and ordain as follows:

A. When signs are erected by the Town of Bradford giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle in violation of such notice:

1. From the hours of 12:00 midnight to 6:00am from November 15 through April 15 of each year on any road in town;

2. In no parking areas or emergency no parking areas as designated by proper signs.

B. Specific areas of no parking:

1. Church Street-no parking on west side.

2. Forest Street-no parking on either side within one hundred (100) feet of Route 114.

3. French’s Park access road-no parking either side.

4. French’s Park-permit parking only.

5. Massasecum Avenue-no parking either side within one hundred (100) feet of Route 114.

6. Massasecum Lake Rd- no parking either side from the north entrance on Route 114 toDavis Rd.

7. Oakdale Rd.-no parking either side.

8. West Main St.-no parking on the north side fromChurch St.toGillingham Dr.

9. Town Hall-Fire Lanein front as indicated by signs.

10. No parking within one hundred (100) feet of a posted bridge or elevated structure.

Any vehicle parked in violation of signs will be ticketed and/or towed and the owner of said vehicle shall be liable for the fines and other costs incurred.
