TOWN OF BRADFORD PLANNING BOARD
DECEMBER 23, 2014
Meeting called to order at 7:00pm by Marcia Keller, Chair.

Review and Consideration of Minutes
Motion made to approve the minutes of December 16, 2014 without edits. Motion carried 4-0. Erich Caron and Don Jackson abstained as they were not present at the previous meeting.
Appointment of Alternate Member
Miriam D’Angona was introduced as a new Planning Board Alternate. Motion was made to approve the appointment of Planning Board Alternate Member Miriam D’Angona. Motion approved 6-0.

The Planning Board received a letter from Bernie Waugh, Town Attorney regarding changes made to Planning and Zoning Ordinances by the State and Federal Government in 2014. He offered to meet with the Board and any other Town Officials for an information session. The Board agreed that would be beneficial and proposed inviting the Planning Board, Zoning Board, Select Board and Code Enforcement Officer. The Secretary will reach out to Mr. Waugh’s office to arrange a time for the information session.
Marcia Keller, Chair, thanked Jim Bibbo and Claire James for attending the Select Board meeting December, 22, 2014 to defend the CIP budget. The Board emphasized the importance of CIP upkeep in order to show the town residents what needs to get done and what it costs.
Claire James volunteered to write the Planning Board Town Report for 2014, highlighting the Planning Board’s efforts and explaining the intention of the board. The Board will share ideas which she will then incorporate into the report.
Review Excavation Regulation Amendments
The Planning Board went through the Earth Excavation and Reclamation Regulation Proposed Amendments line by line to ensure accuracy. Edits were made regarding numbering the Appendices, verbiage, grammatical errors and punctuation. Motion was made to approve the proposed Earth Excavation & Reclamation Regulations with edits. Motion carried 5-0. Public Hearing is scheduled for January 27, 2015.
The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2015, 7:00pm.
As there was no other business to come before the board, meeting adjourned at 9:25pm.
