 Appearances

  1. Lois Kilnapp informed the Board that there are no other options for disposal of hazardous waste other than Goffstown and Henniker. Lois explained the process of disposal hazardous waste and then requested that the Board does not renew the contract with Henniker. The new process would be that Bradford residents bring their hazardous waste to Goffstown. Disposal in Goffstown will involve completing form which can be downloaded from the internet. More information will be communicated through the Bradford Bridge. Lois also suggested that the Board raise the charge to residents for demolition to be more in line with what surrounding towns charge. Currently the charge is $60/yard in Warner and $35/yard in Sutton. Bradford charges $15/yard. Lois recommended that the Board raise Bradford’s charge for demo waste to $35/yard. The Board voted to increase the rate to $35 per yard, vote 3-0 in favor.
  1. Perry Teele presented a tax map correction (Map 17/ Lots 3 through 12 and 17) to the Board. The Board signed the correction. Perry also mentioned the perambulation that is done with other towns is long overdue. The Board asked Karen to write a letter to the surrounding towns reaching out to them so that the perambulations can get done and the records updated.

Regular Business

  1. Town Hall update: The volunteers are doing a great job inside and they are ready to put sheetrock up. The toilet and sink in the accessible bathroom actually do meet ADA regulations. The move will take place before the bulletproof windows are installed but this should happen shortly after the move in. There will be a notice in the Bradford Bridge asking for volunteers. There was further discussion about placement of the ADA entrance into the building. Jim Bibbo suggested he might contact outside agencies to discuss and review the location of the entrance.
  2. Board signed the Intent to Excavate – Map 2/Lot 104-1
  3. Board signed the Timber Tax – Map 4/Lot 2 and Map 3/Lot 13

  5. Board signed Kearsarge Area Preschool lease
