Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes
August 10, 2015
Pledge of Allegiance
Meeting called to order at 5:30pm
Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Harry Wright, Selectman
Appearances
- Stephen Heavener, Executive Director at CRDC (Capital Regional Development Council), was present to discuss the role of CRDC and the Bradford Revolving Loan Fund. It was agreed that the Bradford Revolving Loan Fund Committee will go dormant until next year and the Town Administrator will continue to keep up communications with CRDC as needed. Mr. Heavener will continue to send monthly updates to the town.
Regular Business
- Road work on Old Warner Rd. will begin this week with a goal to complete the work by the 2nd week of September. While roadwork is underway Route 114 access to Old Warner Rd will be limited to local traffic only.
- Assessment hearings were held and went smoothly with some adjustments to be made. New values will be up on the map by the end of the week. The assessor will be available on the 3rd Thursday of every month beginning in September.
- Breezy Hill Bridge (Pond Bridge) update requested. Town Administrator stated the anticipated total cost will fall around 15-16k (8k from this year). Selectmen advised there will likely be a stop sign put at either end of the bridge. Additionally they would like to have the bridge inspected by the State to approve it for ambulance access.
Pending Issues
- Wilcox Update- Town Attorney will use police summary to file a Motion for Contempt with court.
- Center Rd Update- Owner of property in question plans to come in to speak with Selectmen.
Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest reviewed and signed.
Minutes of July 27, 2015 meeting were reviewed and accepted with no edits.
Motion to adjourn public session at 6:00pm, voted 3-0.
