Board of Selectmen Meeting
October 29, 2018
Pledge of Allegiance
Meeting called to order at 5:40 pm
Roll Call- Jim Bibbo, Chairman; Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator and Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance
Selectmen John Pfeifle and Michael James were absent
Appearances:
- No appearances
Regular Business:
- Jim reviewed heating system quotes for the Town Hall. He favored approving the bid that most closely followed the engineered design. With that absence of Michael James and John Pfeifle no vote was taken.
- Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest were reviewed and signed. Additional signatures will be gathered outside of the meeting as needed.
- Karen provided an update on the Employee Health Insurance plan. Maureen has identified an alternative plan, which would provide similar coverage to the existing plan, which is increasing its rate, at a reduced cost.
- Jim stated he will propose a 3% increase in employee wages for the 2019 budget.
- No additional business was conducted and the meeting was adjourned at 6:01pm.
The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Tuesday November 13th, 2018 at the Bradford Area Community Center.
