ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JANUARY 4, 2012
7:00PM

Call to Order and Roll Call:

Present at the January 4, 2012 ZBA meeting were: Brooks McCandlish, Chair, Andrew Pinard, Bill Glennie, Geroge Cilley, Alternate and Marge Cilley, Secretary.

Review and Consideration of Minutes:

November 2, 2011 Minutes

Motion was made by Bill Glennie to approve the November 2, 2011 minutes.

Seconded by Andrew Pinard.

Andrew Pinard recommends an amendment on page two, top of page; the minutes should accurately reflect votes. Motion carried 3-0 with amendment.

December 7, 2011 Minutes:

Motion was made by Andrew Pinard to approve the Dec. 7, 2011 minutes, seconded by Bill Glennie. Edits include: Name Andew should be Andrew, Pg 2 – 3rd paragraph down from top. Page One 8 lines up from first paragraph under Corsair Realty: Andrew Silobich should be added. 5 lines up should be: other issue the monitor saw that was not up to code was with SWPPP, the property owner hasn’t installed the –

Third line up from that paragraph should read instead of He did not: Mr. Hauck did not –

Page 2-Third paragraph Second sentence: Andrew Pinard asked does that include the monitoring? Motion carried 3-0 with above amendments.

Discussion ensued, and the consensus of the board was that all Motions will be in writing and given to the Secretary and minutes will be forwarded to Brooks McCandlish, Chair prior to forwarding to all members. If not returned to the Secretary in 24 hours, then they shall be mailed to all.

It was reiterated that the Agenda needs to be posted prior to upcoming meetings. Andrew will check to see if meeting dates can be posted quarterly or every six months.

Mention was made that Andrew Pinard is working on updating Special Exceptions.

The following was read by Bill Glennie, and a copy given to Brooks McCandlish, Chair.

“A municipality’s failure to enforce an ordinance does not constitute ratification of a policy of nonenforcement and, consequently, will not stop a municipality’s subsequent enforcement of the ordinance”.

There being no other business to come before the board, meeting adjourned at 8:00pm
