TOWN OF BRADFORD
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTJMENT
JUNE 8, 2011
7:00PM

Call to order and Roll Call:

Brooks McCandlish, Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00pm with Dick Dionne, Nancy McEachern and Bill Glennie present. Andrew Pinard and Marge Cilley were absent.

James Wall Variance:

Jim Wall gave a quick review of what he is planning on doing for Dick Dionne as the other members have already seen his proposal.

Motion was made by Bill Glennie to approve James Wall’s application for a Variance on his property at 10 High Street, Map 16, Lot 8. Seconded by Dick Dionne. Motion carried unanimously.

Jim Wall advised he will be away until August when the Public Hearing will be held on the 3rd.

Alternates:

Alternates are still needed. Brian Muchow will be asked to attend.

Review and Consideration of Minutes:

Motion was made by Richard Dionne to approve the May 4, 2011 minutes as presented. Seconded by Bill Glennie. Motion carried 4-0.

The June 1, 2011 meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment did not have a quorum, therefore, no action was taken or decisions were made.

Corsair Realty

Brooks mentioned that Harriett Hobbs, has contacted him to say that she would be submitting an application for a special exception for Corsair Realty.

Rules of Procedure:

Rules of Procedure were discussed and suggested changes include:

  • Clarification of the exact limit of the 30 day period for Application is needed;
  • The Applicant shall read their application at the Public Hearing;
  • The information for the Public Hearing needs to be received in time for the Secretary to meet the statutory notification requirements;
  • Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7PM at the Town Hall.

Motion was made to adjourn at 7:42 by Nancy McEachern, seconded by Dick Dionne. Carried 4-0.
