ZBA MEETING
OCTOBER 10, 2013

Call to Order and Roll Call:
Brooks McCandlish, Chair opened the meeting at 7:00pm with Mark Fournier, Alternate, George Cilley, Denise Renk, Erich Caron and Marge Cilley, Secretary present. Andrew Pinard was absent.
Brooks McCandlish, Chair seated Mark Fournier for Andrew Pinard.
Review and Consideration of September 4, 2013 Minutes:
Motion was made by George Cilley to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by Mark Fournier. Erich Caron abstained. Motion carried 4-0.
John Gioldiosis represented by Kelly Gale- Special Exception and Variance Map 17, Lot 62:
Kelly Gale presented an Application for a Variance for the ATM Machine which will be lighted 24 hours a day.
The Special Exception is for the Off Premise sign. The members went over both applications and a Public Hearing will be scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 7:00pm
Suggestion was to individuals from the board to go to the site for observance.
Doug Webb-Soaring Goose, (Lumber Barn) Map 7, Lot 2 Variance Application:
Doug Webb presented his Variance Application for a triangular sign listing products at the Lumber Barn, plus internally lit sign on the existing tower sign. Doug furnished a Site Plan map and explained what he wishes to do.
Motion was made by George Cilley to provisionally accept the Application for a Variance in anticipation of receiving six copies of the plan and to include the abutters labels and required checks. Seconded by Mark Fournier. Motion carried 5-0. A Public Hearing will be set up for November 6, 2013.
Discussion regarding viewing the Site ensued.
Ed MacLeod-Forest Street –Map 11, Lot 1:
Ed MacLeod came before the ZBA with a Variance Application for a tool shed next to his house, which was reviewed by the members.
Motion was made by George Cilley to accept the Application for a Variance for Ed MacLeod, Map 11, Lot 1 with six copies of the Application, checks and labels to be provided. Seconded by Mark Fournier. Motion carried 5-0.
2014 Zoning Board of Adjustment Budget:
The Zoning Board of Adjustment completed their Budget for 2014.
Motion was made by George Cilley to approve the 2014 Zoning Board of Adjustment Budget. Mark Fournier seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
