ZONING BOARD MINUTES

May 6th, 2020

7:00 pm meeting held remotely via ZOOM platform

  • Open Meeting and Roll Call:

Members: Brooks McCandlish (Chair), Ken Parys (Vice Chair), Nathanial Bruss (Absent), Beth Downs, and Denise Renk 

Alternates: Robert Hodges (Absent), Bill Duffy (Absent)

Members of the public: Liz Nolin Esq.

Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm

  • Approval of Minutes:

Review and Consideration of April 15th, 2020 minutes 

Motion: Beth Downs motioned to accept the minutes with the spelling correction of Anne Jaelridge and the word soke corrected to soak, as well as strike Dick Morris is the contractor; contractor has an excavator in mind to do the work.

Second: Ken Parys 

Decision: All in favor 4-0

Appearances: None 

New Business:

  • Review variance application for Map 18 Lot 13 located on 244 Breezy Hill Road.

Liz Nolin representing the applicant verbalized that the applicant received the shoreland permit approval from the state of NH. Brooks stated that a copy should be sent to the Zoning Board.

Motion: Ken motioned to accept the application as complete.

Second: Beth 

Decision: All in favor 4-0

Public Hearing is scheduled for June 3rd,2020

Site walk is scheduled for May 20, 2020 at 3:00 pm.

Other Communications:

  • The Zoning Board discussed procedures for public hearings and draft of the minutes.
  • The Zoning Board articulated following up with Karen Hambleton in regards to creating E-mail addresses for the Zoning Board members.
