ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES
September 2nd, 2020
7:00 PM HELD REMOTELY VIA ZOOM PLATFORM
Members: Brooks McCandlish, Chair; Ken Parys, Vice Chair; Nathanial Bruss, Beth Downs (Absent), and Denise Renk (Absent).
Alternates: Robert Hodges (Absent), William Duffy (Absent)
Members of the public: Mike Beauregard
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm
To Do:
- Review and consideration of August 5th, 2020 minutes
Motion: Ken Parys motioned to accept the minutes as written.
Second: Brooks McCandlish
Decision: Ken Parys- Ayes, Brooks McCandlish- Ayes, Nathanial Bruss- Ayes
- New applications: Variance Application Mike Beauregard Map 23 Lot 15- variance application to build a 22×22 two car garage. Nathanial asked if the distance is 33 feet from the edge of the road or right of way? The applicant stated 33 feet from the edge of the road. Brooks presented a map of the property that showed the approximate distance from the lake and the edge of the property. If less than 75 feet from the lake an additional variance would also be needed. The ZBA reviewed the application, the distance from the lake and road need to be accurate. The applicant decided to withdraw the application and will resubmit a new one with accurate measurements.

Other Communications:
- Brooks McCandlish will be meeting with the Planning Board in the near future to make amendments to the zoning ordinance.
- Katie Olohan explained the discrepancy in the zoning budget pertaining to the supplies item line.
- The next Zoning Board meeting will be held on October 7th, 2020 held remotely via the Zoom platform.
