Present: George Beaton, Nathanial Bruss, J Ann Eldridge, Meg Fearnley, Brooks McCandlish, and Doug Southard (via Zoom).

The draft report of 2/15/22 was reviewed and George offered a correction to add Ann to the Building Permit Review Subcommittee. Meg motioned to accept the draft minutes as amended with Nathanial seconding and the motion was unanimously approved.

Treasurer’s report was reviewed and typos were found and will be corrected.

Correspondence: Reviewed upcoming Saving Special Places virtual meeting and the Cotttrell-Baldwin lecture series at Fox State Forest.

Selectboard have approved the wild bee research at the bog to be conducted by UNH and also drafted a letter of support for a grant for UNH to study cedar regeneration at the bog.

Bradford Springs: The Memo of Understanding (MOU) regarding the Abenaki plans for the Bradford Springs Site has been sent from Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust (ASLPT) to the Abenaki.

Warner River: The 2020 Warner River instream survey found algal blooms near Breezy Hill Rd and also ATV traffic downstream in Warner.

New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions is encouraging landowners of 3 – 30 acres interested in solar power to Zoom with Beth McGuinn 3/16.

ZBA: Approved a variance on Lake Massasecum (map 22, lot 13) to replace an existing house and add an attached garage.

Langley Donation: Brackett will file the deed to the county for the Langley property.

ASLPT will discuss the possible purchase of conservation land with their Land Board meeting on 3/16/22. The Abenaki Nation is supportive. Other grant money is being sought.

Meg volunteered to pick up our mail from the Town Office.

Public Programming: Group discussion on possible speakers and programs for this summer ended the meeting which Brooks motioned to adjourn and Nathanial seconded at 7:50 pm. The next meeting will be 4/19/22 at BML.
