Meeting Minutes
November 17, 2015, 7pm at Brown Memorial Library
Present: George Beaton, Seth Benowitz, Nathanial Bruss, J Ann Eldridge, Meg Fearnley, Patty Furness, Scott Maclean, Brooks McCandlish.  Also present, guest Dave Woolpert from the Henniker Conservation Commission.
Secretary’s Report:  the minutes of the 10/20/15 meeting were accepted as read.
Warner River Protective Designation Program: There is another organizational meeting in Warner on Wednesday, November 18 at 7pm.  Scott will attend as our representative, as well as Bill Kranz from the Rural Heritage Committee, when available.
Bradford Pines State Natural Area:  Nik Coates (NH Association of Conservation Commissions) advises that there is new legislative bill being discussed regarding the Bradford Pines, involving a possible land exchange deal. He will keep us advised.
NH Wildlife Action Plan 2015 Update:  This event will be held in Concord at the NH Fish and Game Headquarters on Thursday, January 14, 2016.  A nomination is needed for the advisory board which will be set up.
2016 Master Plan Update: The community survey portion concerning natural resources of the 1996 and 2006 plans were reviewed, discussed, and reformulated as needed in regards to pertinence in the new questionnaire.  This reworked questionnaire will be submitted to the Planning Board for inclusion in the 2016 Master Plan community survey.
Planning Board (Oxbow Lot Site Plan): A firewood and landscape/hardscape business has submitted a proposed site plan off of Rte 103 in Bradford.  Map 3/Lot 89 There were numerous issues not addressed in the site plan of this wetlands area, including wetlands buffers and floodplains, shoreland protection, and stormwater management and control plan.  Brooks stated the importance of being advised of any filling at this site and the need to submit our concerns.  Ann will pass these issues discussed to the Planning Board for consideration in the next public hearing continuance on Tuesday, December 8.  Seth and Ann will attend to express our concerns.
Natural Resources Inventory Synopsis: The next chapter to be submitted to the Bridge will be Trails and Recreation.  Thanks to Ann and Seth for submitting these condensed overviews of the NRI to facilitate understanding.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.  The next meeting will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015, 7pm at Brown Memorial Library.
