Economic Development Committee Minutes 07.08.21

The meeting convened at 6:05. Present were Scott McCaskill and Jim Bibbo. Matt Monahan (CNHRPC) joined via Zoom. We did not have a quorum.

We discussed the revised ERZ maps. Jim wondered why more areas weren’t included. Matt and I thought it best to keep the zones local to Main Street and the 103/Transfer Station property. Matt will circulate maps and documentation to the Select Board and the Planning Board for preliminary review and suggestions. At a future meeting with quorum, we can vote to recommend to the Select Board.

We discussed progress on the trail map. Scott said that it was developing into a more genera map, with trails recommended by the Conservation Commission as generally accessible, historic locations from the Rural Heritage Connection and the Historical Society, business locations, points of interest, etc. The business listing is growing slowly.

Devin Pendleton from the Parks and Recreation Committee stopped in to talk about the September 25th celebration.

We discussed the Naughton tract a bit. We decided to wait a bit, to see what proposals the Historical Society may have.

The meeting ended about 6:55.
