Review and consideration of May and June minutes

Review and consideration of budget and expenses- The snack shack that was operated during Tball generated a little over $400.00. The money was given to the Town and it was deposited into the general fund. Waiting for an update from Bruce for totals from the 5K Road Race.

French’s Park Attendant- Committee discussed attendant schedule. There have been a few rainy weekends where attendant is not needed during her regularly scheduled shifts. To make up hours attendant works mid-week days, not to exceed budgeted weekly hours.
Motion by Devin Pendleton to approve French’s Park Attendant making up missed weekend shifts mid-week, not to exceed budgeted hours.

A cell phone was purchased for the French’s Park Attendant for safety reasons and to report any violations to the Bradford police dispatch. Committee voted by email on June 18 to approve the purchase of a phone and Tracfone airtime. Committee reconfirmed their votes in approval of the cell phone.

Parks and rec will host a tie dye party on July 29, 2021 at Brown Shattuck. There are some supplies leftover from the 2019 Tie Dye party, but additional supplies should be ordered.
Motion by Jon Roy to spend up to $45.00 to order additional supplies for the tie dye party.

September 25- The Independence Day fireworks were rained out for July 3 and will be rescheduled to the rain date of September 25, 2021. September 27 was the date of Bradford’s incorporation, so the September 25 date was chosen to celebrate that. The committee would like to host an event that day to celebrate Bradford. Ideas include a community breakfast with live music, parade, and a celebration at Brown Shattuck Field with children’s activities, live music, food trucks, grilling competition, poultry pageant, and more. Will reach out to the Fire Dept and see if they are interested in bringing back the chicken barbeque.
