BRADFORD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Ref. Public Hearing Notice: Case # 2017-AD-001
The Appeal by David and Michele Halsted of an Administrative Decision by the Planning Board, classifying Erik Croto’s ammunition manufacturing business at 26 Fortune Road, Tax Map 4 Lot 12, as a Home Business according to the Bradford Zoning Ordinance, has not been granted for the following reasons:
• The ZBA finds that the Planning Board has no authority to determine compliance with the Home Business provisions of the Bradford Zoning Ordinance, therefore the Home Business Compliance Form, though signed by the Planning Board, does not constitute an administrative decision.
• The Home Business Compliance Form is not an application for approval of a home business; it is a voluntary aid to help landowners determine whether a proposed use meets the requirements of a Home Business under the Zoning Ordinance.
• The ZBA finds no administrative decision to appeal in this case.
