Planning Board Minutes 10.21.21

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm

Members Present:  Carol Troy (Vice Chair), Katie Olohan (Alternate) seated for Laurie Colburn, Pam Bruss (Chair), Tom Dunne, Sonny Harris (Alternate) seated for Carol Meise, Doug Troy.  

Members Absent: Laurie Colburn, Carol Meise, Alternate Steve Chase, Mel Pfeifle (Selectmen’s Rep),

Public Present: Michael Malecha

  • Pledge of Allegiance
  • Review and consideration of September 28th, 2021 meeting minutes.

Motion: Carol Troy motioned to accept the September 28th, 2021 minutes as written.

Decision: Carol Troy- Aye, Doug Troy-Aye, Pam Bruss-Aye, Sonny Harris- Abstain, Katie Olohan- Aye.

Public Hearing(s):  Malecha- Lot Line of Adjustment Map 2 Lot 4 Map 2 Lot 4-1. The rules and procedures were read into record by Chair Pam Bruss. The Public Hearing was called into session at 7:06pm. The Public Hearing was noticed online and posted in two public places. The Board discussed the application. The site walk was conducted on October 11th, 2021. The pins were set in granite.

Motion: Carol Troy motioned to accept the application as complete.

Second: Doug Troy

Decision: Carol Troy- Aye, Doug Troy-Aye, Pam Bruss-Aye, Sonny Harris- Aye, Katie Olohan- Aye.

The applicant gave an overview of the proposed lot line of adjustment. Carole McCorry, an abutter, was in favor. Public comment was closed at 7:13pm. Carol Troy stated that everything looked well marked. Pam Bruss questioned the width of the driveway for the back lot. Applicant Michael Malecha stated the width of the right of way is approximately 40 feet.

*Two Planning Board members were able to attend the site walk, site walk minutes will not be drafted as there was a minimum of members for a quorum to hold a meeting.

Motion: Carol Troy motioned to approve the lot line of adjustment.

Other Communications:

Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission will attend the October 26th, 2021 Planning Board meeting for the table of uses and regulatory review. The noise ordinance will be drafted for the next Planning Board meeting. 

The large box store discussion will be tabled.

The Lake Massasecum Zoning discussion will be tabled as well.

The CIP Committee has a joint meeting with the Budget Committee and Select Board on October 25th, 2021.  Planning Board members are welcome to attend as well.
