Pledge of Allegiance
Meeting called to order at 5:43 pm
Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Jim Bibbo, Selectman
Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator; Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance
The intent of this meeting was to focus on the proposed budget for 2017.
The Select Board reviewed the 2017 budget account by account noting the reasons for significant increases and decreases. The Board agreed that the two line items related to the Henniker Rescue Service should be separated into its own account and labeled such that it stands apart from the budget for the Bradford FAST Squad. After much discussion, the Board voted 3-0 to budget for a 2% wage increase to be based on merit and to hold the employee contribution for health insurance at 9%.
The Board signed the request to deposit the amounts voted in the 2016 Town Meeting into the Trust Funds and Capital Reserves.
The Board signed the abatement recommendation for Map 6/Lot 103.
The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Bradford Area Community Center at 5:30.
