Pledge of Allegiance

Meeting called to order at 5:30pm

Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Harry Wright, Selectman

Appearances

  1. Fire Chief, Mark Goldberg, gave an update of the Bradford Rescue Squad. Two more people have become state licensed. Spoke highly of cooperation between Henniker Fire & Rescue and Bradford Rescue Squad. Have begun discussions of Bradford’s involvement in helping Henniker. Re: previous conversation about opening Forest St year round for better ambulance access to Bradford- cost allowing FC thinks it is a great idea.
  2. Road Agent was present to advise of impending snow storm expected Saturday 3/14. Selectmen discussed postponement of Town Meeting.
  • Motion made to postpone Town Meeting until Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10am at the Bradford Elementary School. Motion passed 3-0.

Regular Business

  1. Selectmen signed Wilcox affidavits.
  2. Letter from Parks & Recreation read to record requesting bay in old Town Shed. Intend to modify bay for storage in order to begin preliminary construction on ice rink this spring to have rink ready by fall. Chairman recommends an inventory be taken of requested bay’s contents to give them options.
  3. Questions arose of repairs to Water St Bridge. Selectmen recommend having engineers review to evaluate pricing prior to making any decisions.
  4. Town Administrator advised of the benefit at Appleseed Monday evening, March 16, 2015 for Maureen Brandon’s 15 year old daughter Renee who is currently undergoing treatment for Leukemia.
  5. Motion made to rescind amendment made to Selectmen’s Minutes of Feb 23 regarding anonymous donations (see Selectmen’s Minutes 3/2/15- #14) as Selectmen have learned of RSAs in place that supersede the intent.

Pending Issues

  1. Autocraft- forwarded to town attorney for action
  2. Failed septic system on Route 114
  3. Shed unlawfully built on Center Rd
  4. Questionable effluent N side of Old Warner Rd

Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest reviewed and signed.

Minutes of March 2, 2015 meeting were reviewed and accepted as amended. Public session ended at 6:00pm.

Meeting entered into Nonpublic Session per RSA 91A:3II (a) re: personnel issues.
