Zoning Board Minutes 10.5.16

Meeting called to order at 7:04pm by Stephen Pierce, Vice Chair

Review and Consideration of Minutes

Minutes of September 7th, 2016 reviewed with no edits.

 

Receipt of Applications:

Doug Webb of Soaring Goose, LLC presented additional information about the proposed retaining wall to be behind Lumber Barn Buildings on Route 114 (Map 7/Lot2). After the review The Board made a motion to accept the application and hold a public hearing at the next scheduled ZBA meeting on November 2nd . Motion was passed 3-0.

 

Tom Cullinane, 212 Fairgrounds Rd (Map2/Lot 32 &33) presented the board with an application to build a 12 x 14’ shed approximately 10’ within the shoreland zone. he Board made a motion to accept the application and, pending notification of abutters, to hold a public hearing at the next scheduled ZBA meeting on November 2nd . Motion was passed 3-0.

 

New Business:

Amy Fortune of G&A Automotive, 10 Breezy Hill Rd, inquired about the ZBA requirements for changing the name on a non-conforming sign built prior to the adoption of the sign regulations.

 

Communication and Miscellaneous

  1. Stephen Pierce read a letter in support of the Heselton Junk Yard proposal.

As there was no additional business to come before the board, meeting adjourned at 7:40pm.
