Meeting called to order at 5:30pm

Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator; Marilyn Gordon, Treasurer were in attendance

Autocraft- Mr. Wilcox made no appearance. The Board will write a strong letter to Mr. Wilcox indicating their concerns and pushing firmly for action in the removal of vehicles.

  1. Budget: The Board reviewed and discussed the budget.

The Board voted 3-0 in favor of the above budget.

4913: Capital Project Funds:

  1. Town Hall: The Board voted 3-0 in support of a warrant article for $750,000 ($936,000 total

project cost less $186,000.00 received in donations) for the Town Hall Restoration.

  1. 3000 Highway equipment: The Board recommends $125,000.00 for the purchase of a loader.
  2. 7000 BNSYS: The Board recommends $2,750.00
  3. 7001 Police Cruiser: The Board recommends $9,200.00 for the second lease payment.
  4. 7003 Asphalt Road Repairs: The Board recommends $50,000.00
  5. 7007 Master Plan: The Board recommends $5,000.00
  6. 7009 Boat Launch: The Board recommends $6,000.00
  7. 7013 Fire Dept Equipment (Compressor): The Board recommends $35,000.00
  8. 9300 Road work: The Board recommends $110,000.00

4915: Capital Reserve:

  1. 7410: Highway Expendable Trust- The Board recommends $40,000.00
  2. 9302: Fire Department Heavy Equipment- The Board recommends $80,000.00

Other:

Library: The Board recommends $9,000.00 to replace furnace.

Karen mentioned that the State had sent a letter recommending that the Water Street Bridge weight rating be reduced from 15 tons to 3 tons. The Board will further discuss bridge funding and cemetery funding in the Budget Committee meeting following this meeting.

Other Regular Business:

  1. 2015 Audit: The Board will review discuss this at the next meeting.
  2. The Board would like to further revisit the 2017 Assessing contract next week.
  3. The Board signed Intent to Cut Map11/Lot26.
  4. Karen presented Felicia Starr’s resignation letter as Deputy Treasurer. The Board then signed the Deputy Treasurer appointment of Cheryl Behr.
  5. The Board will revisit the Abatement Recommendation Map 23/Lot 3 next week.
  6. The Board will revisit the Abatement Appeal of Map 23/Lot 24 next week.

Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest reviewed and signed.

Minutes of January 23, 2017 meeting were reviewed and accepted with no change.

The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Monday, February 6, 2016 at the Bradford Community Center.
