Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes
October 5, 2015

Meeting called to order at 5:30pm
Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Harry Wright, Selectman
Appearances
- Resident Katy Betz was present to explain how there is a water diverting ditch in Marshall Hill Rd that runs straight towards her house and is causing excess water in her basement. The Selectmen advised they believe the ditch has always been in that location however they will have the Road Agent look into it and let her know what he finds. Selectmen thanked her for coming in.
Regular Business
- Corrective tax deed for Liberty Hill Rd property signed by Selectmen.
- Selectmen signed MS535 to set tax rate for the town
- Town administrator received quote to replace the town office copy machine
- RFQ (Request for Quotation) for Bement Bridge will be in the October 17-18, 2015 Union Leader
- Regular annual warrant article request from BNSYS received for $2750
- Cemetery Commission asked if Selectmen want to put the cemeteries out to bid. Selectmen agreed to go out to bid for cost comparison.
- Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 3:30pm the bid will open for Breezy Hill Rd.
- Transfer Station Manager contacted Town Administrator after last meeting to advise their reduced budget is due to no hazardous waste day this year and lower disposal costs.
- Road Agent advised turning Forest St into a 1-way street would not work. Chair suggested town look into a notification sign to make the 1-way option possible.
- Town received word that the road signs at Fairgrounds and W. Meadow Rd are turned 90 degrees and need correcting.
- Harry Wright advised he is still waiting for a call back from the LCHIP representatives.
- Town Administrator sent a letter to ITW (cell tower owners) requesting service.
- Unregistered vehicles on Lake Massasecum Ave were brought to the attention of the board.
October 13, 2015 Selectmen’s meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, October 19, 2015 at 5:30pm.
Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest reviewed and signed.
Minutes of September 28, 2015 meeting were reviewed and accepted with no edits.
Public meeting adjourned at 6:04pm. Meeting moved into non-public session per RSA 91A:3.IIa, personnel issues.
